Rare "Y29" sculpture vase from the Yantra series designed by Ettore Sottsass for Design Centre, in red enameled ceramic, signed, from the end of the 1980's.
The Yantra series was designed in 1969 par Ettore Sottsass and distributed by Design Centre, a firm in the Poltronova sphere run by Sergio Cammilli during the decade 1969-1979.The Y29, because it met a great success, was produced again in the 1980's. Some Yantra models were then re-issued in other colors in the 1990's by EAD. This vase is a version from the end of the 1980's.
Signature: "Sottsass, Y/10".
Condition: Very good vintage condition, no chip, no crack.Very nice patina of the enamel.
Dimensions: H: 31,5cm x W: 33,5cm x L: 9,5cm.
