The etching technique is an engraving process where a metal plate is covered with a varnish that will be engraved with the drawing using a dry tip. The plate is then soaked in acid (etching) so that the drawing appears on the matrix. This technique allows a more detailed rendering where the inks are deeper and denser.
Signature: Signed and dated "Sonia Delaunay 69", numbered 30/100.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, bright colors, framed.
Dimensions: H: 76,5cm x 57,2cm.
