Beautiful totem # 5 from the "Flavia" series, signed and numbered by Ettore Sottsass, published by Bitossi in the 1960s. Ettore Sottsass's genius lies in his creations with innovative, playful and colorful forms among which we can cite his series of Totems "Flavia" from the 1960s and edited by Bitossi. The series includes 5 drawings (titled # 1 to # 5), small or large, of sculptures made of superimposable elements in matte or enamelled ceramic, colored, signed and numbered out of 150 copies produced.
Signature : E. Sottsass, Bitossi ; numbered 50/150.
