Description
The "Bilia" or "Bille" lamp was designed by Gio Ponti in 1931, when he founded the famous Fontana Arte publishing house with Pietro Chiesa dedicated to glass. This lamp, which has become iconic, is therefore one of the very first models published. It remains incredibly modern if we consider the year of its design. This was produced in the 1970s.
Very good condition : iconic piece, very good original condition and electrical operation, original italian plug (sold with european adaptator), the opaline glass globe is original, no chips.
Each piece is vintage with normal wear due to time.
