Comment from our specialist:

"The death" by Michel Andrault is a polymorphous and erotic gilt bronze sculpture: half-vanity, half-penis, realized in the 1970’s/80’s and signed. Michel Andrault, co-founder of the architectural firm Andrault-Parat, is known to the wider public for a number of emblematic achievements of architecture and urbanism of the second half of the twentieth century. On the other hand, the whole of his creations, sculptures or drawings, is known only to a small circle of friends or initiates, among whom Philolaos Tloupas, the famous Greek sculptor, who inspired Andrault's work.

Signature : "Andrault".

Condition : Very good vintage condition, nice bronze patina.

Dimensions : 13 x 7,5 x 4 cm.
