Beautiful gilded bronze sculpture by Arman representing a sliced violin dating from 1972 and limited to 150 copies. The theme of the "Sliced violin" is central for Arman, diverting manufactured objects by "accumulations" or "anger" (by breaking objects). This instrument which can no longer be used to play music takes on a new role here artistic and poetic.

Condition : Good vintage condition, the bronze has probably been cleaned.
