Iconic bronze and nails “Cadeau” sculpture made by Man Ray in 1921 and edited by Luciano Anselmino in 1974. Founder: Fonderie di Mirano. Signed and numbered.

Sold with its original box, its certificate and the art critic Arturo Schwarz presentation leaflet. Coming out of a coffee with Eric Satie in France in 1921, Man Ray passed in front of a domestic utensils shop whith an iron on display. He decided to buy it and to divert it into a sculpture with nails. This was is "first Dada object in France" si iconic that it was then edited in 1974, on year before his death.

Condition : Good vintage condition, a lot of patina on the bronze, complete set with its original polystyrene box.

Dimensions : H. 16,5 cm. x L. 10 cm. x P. 8 cm.
