Works on paper Sonia Delaunay

In 1910, following an earlier marriage, the artist Sonia Terk married the painter Robert Delaunay and joined him in studying colours and abstraction, which she applied to fashion, decoration, book illustration and book cover design.

She also opened an interior design shop (Casa Sonia) and later, with the couturier Jacques Heim, created the Boutique Simultanée for the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts (Paris, 1925), before joining the Abstraction-Creation group, which championed non-figurative art.

The prints, etchings, lithographs, engravings and stencils that Sonia Terk-Delaunay produced are a reflection of her artistic creation: works of pure, colourful and contrasting colours that juxtapose one another like mosaics or stained glass.

The works on paper selected by Collector Square, among the most sought after on the art market, are all signed and numbered and in perfect condition. True collectibles and investment items.
