Cette collaboration durera 17 ans, et permettra à Trabert & Hoeffer d'accéder à une notoriété aussi prestigieuse que celles des plus grands joailliers français, et à Mauboussin de maintenir la commercialisation de ses bijoux aux États-Unis.,La maison Mauboussin conclut en 1936 le premier accord commercial avec Trabert and Hoeffer dont la réputation n'est plus à faire et qui possède de nombreuses succursales aux Etats-Unis (Palm Beach, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, Miami, Beverly Hills). On peut donc désormais y acheter des bijoux Mauboussin sans passer par Paris.
