The history of Louis Vuitton watches

Louis Vuitton watches

Louis Vuitton was founded in 1854 and was a leather goods specialist for many years.

It wasn’t until 2002 that the first Louis Vuitton watch appeared, designed by Bernard Arnault: the Tambour, named in honour of the first ever miniature watch created in the West in 1540. Later Marc Jacobs designed the Emprise range which is one of Louis Vuitton’s landmark collections.

Today, Louis Vuitton still continues to produce iconic designs in a range of versions, combining tradition and modernity.
