    Description : circa 1750 Gilt verge movement with pierced and engraved balance cock with diamond endstone, movement signed B.Steele, London, cylindrical pillars, repeating via two hammers, fine enamel dial with gold printed Roman numerals and outer minute divisions, gold hands, inner gold case with fine engraved and pierced sound frets, stamped with Standard mark for 22ct with indistinct London Hallmark, case makers mark IW for John Ward of Boars Head Court, Fleet Street, fine outer case with white enamel and chased bezel the back with central oval monogram highlighted with white enamel dots depicting the initials AJR inside case stamped with the makers mark PM for Peter Mounier of Frith Street, Soho, the chatelaine with three separate gold and enamel set chains to a white enamel matching monogram.49mm.
