A rare stainless steel automatic wristwatch with sweep centre seconds, supplied to the Argentine Navy.Signed Tudor, Oyster Prince, 200m=660ft, Submariner, Rotor, Self-Winding, Ref. 7928, case no. 571'567, manufactured in 1967.Cal. 390 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, Tudor Auto-Prince rotor, black matte dial, luminous dot, baton and dagger numerals, luminous hands, sweep centre seconds, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type Rolex Oyster case, black bezel calibrated for 60 units, screw back with engraved inscription Original Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva and the number 61339-Ci, large screw down Rolex crown, stainless steel Tudor buckle, case, dial and movement signed.40 mm. diam..Pre-Lot Text.The following two lots, 203 and 204, are from the celebrated Tudor Oyster-Prince Submariner crown guard reference 7928 series, launched around 1960. The twin of Rolex Submariner ref. 5513, it was equipped with the same bezel and was able to withstand water pressure to 200 m. (660 ft)..Reference 7928 was available with different types of crown guards, the dials always featured the Tudor rose symbol followed by Oyster Prince to the upper half, the lower half generally the depth rating 200m=660ft, Submariner, Rotor, Self-Winding on four lines..The model was fitted with the celebrated Auto-Prince calibre 390, a 17 jewels movement developed by Rolex in the 1950s for Tudor.
