The history of Hermès Bolide

Hermès Bolide bags

In 1982, Hermès gave the Torpedo bag a makeover. It was originally designed in 1920 and was inspired by the lines of the sports cars of the day and the taste for modernity, speed and novelty. Pockets, a lining, padlock and keys were added to this lovely travel bag. The bag was renamed Bugatti for its relaunch in honour of the collaboration between Ettore Bugatti and Hermès.

This easy to wear, practical and elegant bag is available in three sizes and a variety of materials.

In 1994 this handsome classic from the house of Hermès was renamed the Bolide.
